Creative Card Crew #84 Handmade flowers challenge

Hello and welcome back to another Creative Card Crew challenge.  We have some wonderful samples of cards made with images from A Day for Daisies and they are our sponsor this time.  They are offering a $12 Gift Voucher.  There images are wonderful and there is a wide range to choose from.  .

I Love the challenge this time: homemade flowers, I love to make flowers and have made many in the past even table decorations for a wedding reception.  This time I kept it simple and made some daisies to go with the image I chose.

Colored the images with copics.  Tried to make the birdbath look like it was made with stone/marble not sure I accomplished that. I colored a second image and cut some of the flowers to pop them for a little more dimension.  I cut the A Day for Daisies image out with a Framelit called Window Frames Collection from Stampin' Up,  The fence was a birthday gift from a dear friend (thanks Carole) and it comes from Darice and is called Picket Fence Border.  The grass and the homemade flowers come from Impression Obsession dies. The flowers at the bottom I made to look like daisies, and colored some pearls with a copic marker for their center.  I added clouds to the blue base card stock with some white pigment ink, a paper towel and sponge.

Thanks for stopping by and seeing my vision, I hope I've inspired you to try your hand and enter a card with some homemade flowers for our challenge!!

Our challenge is to do a spring animal, keep Easter animals in mind on this one (not cats or dogs).    This little bunny is all tuckered out and taking a rest.  Isn't he just the cutest thing!!  I made a circle side step card for this one. Give your hand a try and let us see what Easter Critter project you come up with for a chance to win from our sponsor.

James

This little sweetie had surgery on Monday to divide his fingers that were "webbed" together.  His little finger and ring fingers on both hands, he will have the casts on for 10-14 days.  I went over  to help just a bit so my daughter-in-law could get in the shower.  Poor little guy, frustrated that he can't put his fingers in his mouth, or pick up toys.  I'm so glad that he will never remember this!!

If your stopping by to see my visions well come back because I've been working on some things.  thanks :0)

Pheasant Hill Stampers - Tuesday class

Hello and thanks for stopping by Vicki's Visions. My group of stampers at Pheasant Hill are such a joy to meet with!!  They really enjoy embossing and the die cutting is so easy for them. I've been meeting with them for about 2 years and some of them made their own Christmas cards last year.                Here are the 2 cards they will be making one birthday and one that could be used for anything they want.  It is nice to put a little decoration on the inside of the card if it is just white - sorta adds a little pizzazz making it even more homemade.
All the stamps, card stock and ink are from Stampin' Up. I used a ribbon bought from a craft store for the top one.  The bottom one has bakers twine to add just a touch of orange color.
Thanks for stopping by, have a great day.

Double challenge Spring!!

Enjoyed making a card like this for a dear friend.  Her is coming up and I know she loves flowers, purple, and Tilda stamps.  This is my first attempt at coloring Tilda - she comes from Magnolia stamps, they have a wide range of products.

I'm entering this card in a couple challenges:  Papertake Weekly &
                                                                               Add a little Dazzle
Papertake Weekly - anything goes/spring
Add a little Dazzle - color/ anything goes   Not sure you can tell in pictures but the bucket and flowers are from metal sheets.

If your interested this is a circle side step card.

this is a close up of the pail and flowers I think you can see the shiny look of the metal. I used Impression Obsession dies to cut the pail, flowers,  some stems, and the grass.
Colored Tilda Watering with copic markers mounted on a piece of  DSP from Stampin' Up then  on a lavender colored spellbinders Floral Ovals

Well that's my vision today, thanks for stopping by and looking leave me a comment on what you think of my first try at coloring Tilda.

Creative Card Crew #82

I have been asked to join the Design team with the Creative Card Crew!! This is my first posting and it is such a nice birthday gift yes today is my birthday although I'll not tell how many I've had now :0) I'm excited to do this as I know it will push me to branch out more.  I am a Stampin' Up demonstrator but certainly use other products as I will be doing on the cards for these challenges.  I am new to the digi stamps and am learning as I go, they are definitely less expensive and don't take up as much space as do the actual stamps used with either wood or acrylic blocks. I'll have to reserve judgement on which I like best.  I have been stamping for about 15 years and love it still.  When my boys were young I didn't have as much time but now they are all grown and I am a new grandma as of 4 months ago!!  Okay enough about me how about the challenge details:

Creative Card Crew #82  Green as the Main color

Sponsored by:
Marianne Designs
Prize: Surprise!

Prize: 5 lb. Gift Voucher
3 Digi,s
I made this card for a little boy who needs encouragement on his birthday.  I don't know him but a request from his Grandmother was sent out on a group I am part of.  He is autistic and doesn't have many friends and she wants him to be showered with cards.
This is what I came up with for the Dragon's Lair Designs image- isn't he cute just driving by to say Happy Birthday!! Hope it brings a smile to one little boy!!
Thanks for stopping and taking a peek at my vision.
This is a type of easel card, the middle will stand up and is held by the popped up message on the inside.  The sides are glued down they could be made any width,  the center section is scored in the middle and mountain folded with a stamped piece glued to the bottom section only so that it will stand up behind the popped section (the happy birthday),    mine will fold fairly flat for mailing as I only used stamp dimensionals to raise it.

Products Used:
Stamps:  Digi from Dragon's Lair Designs,                                                                                           Stampin' Up Lovely as a Tree and Loads of Love (retired)
Inks: Stampin' Up Ink Pads, Copic Markers
Card stock and Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up

Fluttering By- Just Add Ink #252

This snow bound lady did a little stamping again.  :0)   that is one good thing about living back a long lane that my van can't get up or down.  Love this new bundlle from the Occasions Catalog;  Butterfly Basic stamp set (11 stamps) and Butterfly Thinlits Dies (3 dies)  I took the medium butterfly and folded it for a side view of the butterfly and adhered only the one side so the butterfly is fluttering on the card.  Sponged the background and stamped the fern multiple times then I wet the back and crinkled the paper. I may have to sponge a little on the words as they are pretty bright for this card, what do you think?  I will have to remember this card sketch - I like it.  thanks for stopping by and looking at my Vision.

Mini treat bag gifts.

Made some little gift bags today using the Mini treat bag thinlit from Stampin' Up  this die cuts and scores the 2 pieces to make these cute little bags!!  It also send dies to cut two words(enjoy and for you), two banners, a star, heart, bow and a long line of small hearts and line of stars.  It is a super nice addition to any ones collection!!    I cut the flowers from the Flower fair Framelit dies and then formed them  and layered  to add a little pizzazz!  Which one do you like?

This is what we woke up to this morning, not really anything new just another 4-6 inches on top of what we had.
  SNOW = stamping   :0)
our lane is long and when it snows and blows my van can't get out,  one can only clean so much then it is time to STAMP!!

Homemade DSP

Have you ever made your own DSP paper? I have a few times, there’s a YouTube channel called Artful Stamping with Ruth that I enjoy watching...
